Because I write and schedule newsletters a few days ahead of time (thank you, again, Kendra!) It totally didn’t occur to me that my last newsletter – the one about my awesome artist friends helping with The 27 Kingdoms – went out RIGHT on my Husband-of-Awesome’s birthday.
So now I’d like to wish him a belated happy birthday here!

Here we are at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, one of our favorite places to go, especially during their big daffodil bloom!
We both have April birthdays; we’re adorable!
Anyway, that was one of very few breaks we’ve both had the past few months. Life continues to throw us some serious curve balls that I still really can’t talk about yet. However, one of the big things is I’ve had to push back the launch of The 27 Kingdoms and my Kickstarter plan. It was going to be in April, a birthday celebration launch, but as April came and we still had a lot of life challenges, I realized I couldn’t give this launch the dedication it deserves.
I will have a more definite announcement on that when I can, but right now things are looking like I will launch the Kickstarter this summer, with the books releasing right around or shortly after Dragoncon this year.
In the meantime, I just attended Rising Phoenix Game Con with the New England Horror Writers, where I had a lot of fun and sold copies of Where Monsters Pray!

And because I love my blog folks, would you like a few more peeks at 27 Kingdoms art?
Here you go!

Trish! FuRbAbY NeWs?!
Well, I’ve been out of the house and away from home more than I’d normally be with the current state of my life, and the kitties are none too happy about it. Here’s Jiji holding me in my seat until she is finished with pet time, and here’s Geralt “helping” me unpack from our Virginia trip to Scares that Care Authorcon.

Lastly, while Calico has been too filthy due to spring fluff and mud for any good pictures, I did take Bentley out on a trail ride that included my friend Curran on Jack, the horse Whip-o-Will rescued this past fall, and Dante on Jazz. Names for our group ranged from “Baayyysss for Daayyss” to the “Bay Bros Boy Band.” We’re still workshopping that…
Happy trails to all of you!
