Editor
I met Ally Machate on an editing panel years ago. We found we had similar philosophies and styles about editing and stayed in contact ever since. When she invited me to join her team after I parted ways with Spencer Hill Press, I found out that I also loved her management style, the work environment she created, and the community of writers and editors she fosters through TWA. The Writer’s Ally offers more options for authors than I can by myself, so I send all my new clients there first.

Coaching
Every person’s path to their dreams is different. Working one-on-one or with small groups allows me to help clients discover and follow the best roads for their projects. No more than four per group.

Workshops
Giving workshops hits my love of performance, interaction, and teaching all at once. Some of the topics I cover include LGBTQ representation, neurodiversity, feminism in publishing and literature, world building, editing and self-editing, the publishing industry, Tarot and divination, horror and monsters, and working freelance as a career. Workshops include handouts and hands-on exercises. No more than 50 per group.

Lectures
Lectures are less involved than workshops and don’t have the exercises or handouts, but we still have fun and learn stuff. Tarot Readings
I both read Tarot and teach how to read Tarot. I also offer classes in using the Tarot to help people write better. I tend to focus on the traditional Universal Waite deck and its symbolism, but I include exercises with several decks to help folks get in touch with their intuition, regardless of deck style.
Pricing: $25 individual 20-minute readings; class prices vary on venue, length, and class size. Contact me for more details.
Writer for Hire
While I’m not currently looking for writing work – I’ve got my own projects I’m super-excited about! – I could be convinced to write for you for the right price about the right topic. I do blogs, newsletters, articles, resumes, short stories, games, press releases, and just about anything. As for topics, I won’t write or support topics of hate, bigotry, or ignorance. Outside of that, feel free to pitch me a project – but be aware it needs to fit into my schedule, be interesting enough for me to want to fit it into my schedule, and offer me enough money to make me fit it in my schedule.
