February, what? Oh, wait, it’s April?
So, a very important life issue happened with someone dear to me who prefers privacy, and I had to take the necessary time to help. Being available for friends and loved ones is one of my life priorities and the main reason I’ve built a work life in the freelance realm. Therefore, I had to pivot and do some rearranging of my schedule and duties. There’s still some uncertainty in my upcoming schedule, but we’ve made some important adjustments to move forward! In January, I announced Noble Armata Press! Now I get to introduce you to what we’re publishing…

Welcome The 27 Kingdoms—done my way! Children of Earth and Fire is a complete duology about Byria and Hawush. The first book is a reworked version of Heart, Wings, and Fire, with some bonus chapters and updates. The second one is Hunter, Healer, and Earth, which would have been that third book I hadn’t released yet.I’ll be releasing them in a very special set—including limited hardcover editions with fully colored maps and more!—via Kickstarter. You’ll finally be hearing more about that really soon, actually…

…thanks to our new party member with #Team27Kingdoms and Noble Armata Press!
Meet Kendra Saunders!
I’ve known Kendra for over a decade, and we’ve worked together in publishing for several clients. She’s even played around writing in the 27 Kingdoms world! Kendra was open to new clients for her social media and marketing work, so I reached out and am thrilled we get to work together again. (She also makes awesome jewelry! Check it out here.)
Kendra, tell us about you!
(Note from Kendra: Hello friends! I’m a designer of nerdy/fantasy crystal crowns, marketing/social media assistant, writer, and lover of all things speculative fiction. Should you need a custom crown for your next LARP or DND campaign, I’m your fairy godmother with the sparkly hook up! And now, I’m so excited to be part of the 27 Kingdoms family and help bring this amazing universe to your laptop/phone/kindle/hands. I’ll be behind the scenes helping Trish with this blog, and answering any of your questions you might have in the meantime.)
There’s so much exciting news coming, so make sure to watch this space for intros to the rest of the #Team27Kingdoms family, and tons more over the next few weeks. For now, I’ll leave you with this picture of the New England Horror Writers at AuthorCon Scares That Care. We had a great time, and can’t wait to visit more conventions this year and meet our readers.
See you back here next week for a new blog update!
